- Joining austenitic manganese steel to other steels.
- Depositing buffer layer on Manganese steels used in rock crushing and earth moving equipment, prior to hard surfacing
- Surfacing of rails, rail crossings, frogs etc.
Description
Multipurpose electrode producing 18 Cr, 8 Ni, 5 Mn deposits which is austenitic, non-magnetic and has good abrasion and wear resistant upto 850oC. The weld metal is of radiographic quality.
